You have to play for real money and pay rake to get rakeback. It does not matter how or from where you get the money to your account.

Your rakeback poker account must be created through rakeback.com though. Rakeback cannot be added to any existing poker room accounts.

Yes you can refer as many friends as you want to rakeback.com. You will be paid commission based on the rakeback your friends get. Please see the rakeback refer a friend pages for more information.
