Default Which Poker Pro would you most want to play against

Which poker pro would you most want to play against? A couple of months ago I played a tournament on poker stars where the winner got to play against Greg Raymer. I ended up winning and got to play a single table sit n go with Greg Raymer in it. Granted this was online and I did not get to play him in person, but it I did well. I got 2nd in the tourny and in the money and Greg got 4th.

It got me thinking who would I most like to play live and in what situation. I think for me I would like to play a live cash game with Phill Helmulth, I think there is a reason he doesnt play many cash games. And once I put a bad beat on him it would be over!

Also, have any of you played against any pro's? Would be neat to hear your stories. Thanks
It all works out in the end!!

Well all my friends locally have nicknamed me "Annie Duke" (lol) So I would like to play against her sometime just to see if their tag on me is befitting.

As for online, I have played at tables on Full Tilt with Karina Jett, Clonie Gowan, Chip Jett & a few other names I didn't recognize. Karina sat out half the game, and when she did play, she was not very aggressive and didn't talk. Clonie Gowan played a LOT of hands, was pretty aggressive, and was talking with the table. Chip Jett sat out what seemed like the whole game, and never said a word. I won a few hands against each of them, but was never the fortunate one to put any of them out personally, as I would always get moved before the chance arrose.
I see you talking but all I hear is blah blah blah

I bet you are a lot like annie duke. I ve read most of your replys and you seem like a very solid player. I think pro's arent much different then most of us they just won the right tournament to get them going.

Hey hun, I'm not sure that dating a pro automatically qualifies her as one herself But I do understand why you picked her....I agree I think you two would be a fair contest against each other

Well Jake, I would argue the point that TNL is a woman, but in this case that is probably EXACTLY why she wants to play against Tilly and I can't say I blame her! (TNL is my partner just so ya know )

Negreanu. He is seems like such a nice guy that I would lose my money to him and actually feel good about it.

Hmm, this just occurred to me: I would actually like to play Stu Ungar (if he was alive, of course). The thing is, altough he was absolutely phenomenal player, he was also such a loose cannon that if I hit a good run of cards, I could make a hell of a profit.

Stu Ungar now that is unique. I have to say I agree he would be a lot of fun to play. One thing is for sure your either gonna lose a lot or win a lot againts him, there would be no in between

She knocked me out from one 2nd day WSOP tournament last year, so can't say I liked playing against her

Jennifer Tilly is passive? lol. No wonder she does so well, what an image when she fires nearly every hand played.

I want to play against Daniel Negreanu. He is a very good and symphatetic player. It would be great fun to play with him.

    Phil Ivey.
I'd try to get bigger headphones than him so that at least I'd win that battle.

And yes, Jennifer IS passive...even though she tries firing at a lot of pots, she's easily pushed out when raised...she folds very easily...this makes her passive. If she were aggressive, the other players would not go over the top of her to push her out so much...if she were aggressive, she'd re-raise when raised into... Testing the waters and stabbing at a lot of pots does not an aggressive player make

Hmm, wouldn't that make her more of an aggressive-weak than passive. I mean she does fire a lot, hence she would be aggressive, but once she runs into a raise she folds, being weak. I dunno, that's how I see it anyway.
Limit poker is a science, but no-limit is an art. In limit you are shooting at a target. In no-limit, the target comes alive and shoots back at you.
