    Default slow play poker

    I am actually talking about the slow player(s) at the table.
    The ones that run the clock to the end every time.

    Is that you? {an explanation in kind}

    Do you play live? The slowest player online can't slow the game down more than a live game runs. It's really rare to see an online game slow down to 20-30 hands per hour. While they think or do whatever they are doing, I usually think of what action I am likely to take based on what they do. I spend my time trying to figure out what they have and what they might do with it. In a tournament it can be a little frustrating but I try and wait it out.

    What I hate are live players who spend so much time talking with other people at the table that they forget to act in turn until someone reminds them. I've seen a guy spend 2 minutes talking while everyone waited for them to act on their hand. It was obvious he wasn't thinking about what he was going to do. When he finally looked at his cards... he just mucked them and continued talking. In a tournament with blinds going up fast... this type of delay kills you.
    I get no respect. . . when I move all-in, people from other tables call.
