what is the worse starting hand you would play?

Suited 6-3 out of position really gets the table going after winning with a straight or flush.
I've flopped a full house this way also.

Lately it's been 8-10 suited.

A lot of times it depends on how loose the table is that I'm at, but I've played 6 9 before and gotten straights with it numerous times. I don't make a habit of it, of course, but when the table is playing hands like 2 3 and 10 5, sometimes you gotta join 'em to beat 'em.

I'll open from the button with any two cards, even 72o, if folded to me and the blinds are tight enough :P I've done it often before and will continue to :P

Just looked at my stats for the last 8k hands ive played. Ive been dealt 72o on the button 15times, have raised it 3 of those times, and made a profit of 5BB with it

It depends on the situation.

First of all, the worst starting hand varies. That is, 72o is the worst 9 or 10 handed starting hand, but 23o is the worst heads up starting hand. Second, there are some situations where you should bet/push all in / call no matter what your cards are. Say you are playing in a no-limit tournament and it's folded to you in late position. You have a small stack and the blinds and antes are going to eat you alive unless you steal. You're at a tight table and you don't think you'll get called. You should move all in. First, they'll probably fold. Second, if they do call and you're behind, you'll still win at least 15% of the time. As another example, say you're playing in a limit cash game and you're in the small blind. You've noticed the big blind never raises and so far it's a family pot - you should call regardless of your cards because of the odds you're getting on your call (8.5 small bets are already in the pot and you only have to call half a small bet - that's 17-1 odds).

when ppl are raising with shit all like 72off, some of them like to pretend as if they are holding aces and play it as if they were. ive heard some pros do this and its a pretty good idea to keep compusre and not give away any tells that ur weak.

Depends a whole lot on the table and the players acting before/after me. With tight players to my left, I'll happily bet with 72o to steal the blinds. Any two cards will do if the situation is right.

Buildmo, I also play the T8 suited like it was GOLD, but only if I am first to raise, I cant call a raise with it. I like the hand, I have made money with it, used like JJ, flop big or go home.

The worst hand I play (in live games with our pokerring) is 2 7 offsuit.

I play them like aces, because we have a house rule that dictates that if someone for any reason wins the hand with 2 7 hand and shows them in the end, he just earned 2BB from each player in the table.

Any two in the right situation will do. If I am going to play junk I prefer no more than a 3 gapper to at least keep the small possibility of a straight. If you play trash, bluff, you should have at least an out in case you are caught with your hand in the cookie jar.

doubled up on someone playing the 6-3
i had JJ and flopped FH - i thought "what a idiot"
but the 6-3 is being played

any give to the 6-3 out there?

I suppose hands like that are played to bust aces (and other big hands too).

The sole purpose is to get two hits and if it misses, it's too bad. Any two non-paired cards will do in this situation. Preferrably they should have as many draws as possible (suited connectors for example ar the best ace busting type of hand..)

However if I put someone on aces, I tend to fold mos hands as I rarely end up a winner in this situation.

The worst had I would play because you just can't fold them would be pocket J's. I have lost so many games becauseof this hand. If I can, I will see the flop if it doesn't cost me too much. If one comes up, then I bet. As they stated on either High stakes, or the WPT, there are 3 ways to play J's and none are right. What a hand.
