So, the Euro 2008 is coming soon, and we at the office are pretty excited about it (at least I am)

Who do you think will win the Euro 2008?

    Good question TNL,

They say that the most exciting teams to watch are either Brasil or Portugal, the Netherlands are also quite nice to watch. That's because they produce fun to watch football/soccer.

I'll post some videos that ESPN made advertising the upcoming Euro 2008

Eh, I'm worried about Italy winning, and there's a damn good chance they will. I just don't like the Italian style of play, not to mention that they are the world leaders of diving. I would like to see Spain take it simply because they are the all-time underachievers. But I guess I'll give my vote to Portugal, they are an exciting team to watch, quite a bit like the Brazilians on the field.

Oh, and on the note about Italians and their diving, I love this clip, it's hilarious:

    Yeah stoffmakers,

I also believe one of the semis will be Germany vs Portugal, the other might be Spain vs (Italy / Neatherlands / France)

An awesome final would be Portugal vs Spain....

So far watched every single game, and plan on watching all the rest too. Decent games so far, apart from the Romania-France game which was a damn snooze fest. On a bright side, The Netherlands-Italy game is awesome, and even better is the fact that Italy is really getting their asses handed to them on a silver platter. 2-0 after first half.

Incredible match the Netherlands - Italy... 3-0 !!!! They beat the World champions like it's child's play!!! Even though I still think their 1st goal is offside... but it doesn't take away their merit.

They are true contenders to the title thus far. Good thing for my team (Portugal) that we can only meet them in the final

Yup, the first goal stirred up a lot of talk, that's for sure. Then again, if Van Nistelrooy would've just fallen when Buffon clipped him they would've earned a penalty shot, so all in all, it evened out. Oh, about that goal, the commentators were saying that (altough they weren't sure about it) after the corner one of the Italian players fell down outside the field and was laying there when Van Nistelrooy scored, and because he wasn't off the field because of an injury, he was the lowest man. To me, that doesn't make sense though, because he wasn't on the field. Nevertheless, who cares, all that matters is that Italy lost.
