beginners forum

hey I was just thinking it would be cool to have a beginners forum here because I look at some of these posts and it just all looks like jibber jabber to me hahaha

like all the numbers and what if this and what if that and it just drives me bonkers because I wanna learn but I gotta be able to understand what I'm reading if I'm gonna learn, right?

but yeah so anyway it would be neat to have a forum where newer players can talk to each other and not stand the risk of someone calling them an idiot just because they ask a simple question that is probably first grade compared to the rest of the forum which seems to be college level.


P.S. Please don't pick this for that contest thing cause I mean [[[thank you]]] but I always have to work on the weekend so I really can't play. so feel free to pick someone else who deserve it and has time to play, and let them have a shot at it cause besides I suck hahaha

I havent seen too many people go off on someone for asking a question, especially a poker related question. Most of the people you will find here are quite helpful. None of us were born playing poker and we had to learn as well. Good luck and happy hunting for the info you want.

Thanks gorden71 that is nice to hear I am still not real sure I am cut out for poker I mean I love to watch Erica play but as far as me playing I am not really comfortable enough yet I don't think. I tried it a while back and then I gave up when I lost a lot of money so I think the first goof I made was starting out playing for money in the first place because I understand the hands and what beats what but I never knew there was so much more to it than that. I am completely blond and I will gladly admit it any day of the week haha so maybe I should just stick to watching Erica play
