Which is the best poker book available?

I know I have read some suggestions about poker books from one poster but I would like to hear some more suggestions. I heard that Doyle Brunson's Super System book was pretty good. Anybody read this book? What are some good poker books?

The Little Green Book of Poker has been suggested to me before. I can't recall the author; I have to go look it up. I'll be back.

That one is authored by Phil Gordon, and it has been getting good reviews.

BY FAR BY FAR the BEST book I've read is:

Tournement Poker for Advanced Players by David Sklansky.

must have!! honest to god, after reading a few chapters of this, i started winning. like i think i made 4000 in 3 weeks, then i stopped reading and practicing the techniques and i stopped winning.

Super System 2 is really highly regarded, but in all honesty, it really didn't do much for me. The one single book that clearly elevated my game to another level is Phil Gordon's Little Green Book. Really, really good book. No limit hold 'em theory and practice by Sklansky is also a must read.

I recommend start off with some online guides for beginners, espically the one at this site, but first read Super system (General poker and Limit/NL sections).

once done with that, read Small Stakes Hold'em, WONDERFUL book. Both books teach you about being aggressive and how it works for your adv. but SSHE goes alittle more into the numbers game with pot odds and implied odds (something SS only briefly hits).

once you've read SSHE, move onto Theory of Poker. OMG my game improved 100000000000% after reading ToP. it's amazing.

Those are some good comments; I think good feedback on this subject is what to read at what point in your game. Beginners need one set of books, then more advanced players need a whole other set of things to read and study.

I agree, maybe someone who has read several of the books recommended could put them in a logical order?
