Default Anyone Following the WSOP main event?

I have been reading the happenings of the WSOP main event since the beginning of the tournament on July 28th. I don't want to give anything away for those that I going to watch it on television, but you will be amazed by some of the early knock outs.

Thanks for being coy. I follow WSOP aggressively on ESPN and would hate to find any spoilers. I find it pretty fun to watch, although I'm not sure if you can learn much since they only show pretty limited numbers of hands. Good entertainment nevertheless.

This is quite true. Most loose novice players that show up at online poker rooms have got the spark for poker by watching tournaments on TV. Televised tournaments are not however a good way to learn poker, since only the hands that have entertainment value are shown.

Some of them are pretty entertaining though, I was watching a pretty interesting hand today where J10 took out KK by hitting two J's on the flop. Pretty crappy, haha.

Speaking of evil, have any of you watched the professional poker tour at all? Its a WPT off shoot where they actually show every hand played at the featured table from start to finish, which is kind of neat..
but, back to the evil thing.. one hand I will never forget..

    3 players
    Q Q
    A A
    A A

Flop comes(this is not exact, but replicates the situation)
    4 8 J

    Turn comes
    4 8 J 6

    River comes
    4 8 J 6 Q

Giving QQ the ONLY card in the deck he could have caught to win.
