Default Now THIS is a suckout!!!

I've got no clue how to find my hand histories for the site in question, so I'm gonna have to write down how this went. I remembered today that I've got some cash at Ultimate Bet, and figured to play a few sit 'n go's, and on one of the tables this happened... Never had this happen before, and never seen it either. I was a huge chip leader against an average/low(ish) stack so it didn't even hurt me bad.

The game was $5+$.50 Single table sit 'n go.

I was a huge chip leader with around 7000, blinds at 75-150, five players left. I'm sitting in the button and get dealt A 3. I bet 450, small blind folds, big blind with about 1600 left think a while and calls.

    Flop: 4 5 J
BB makes an odd bet 200, I figured to just call.
    Turn: 4 5 J 2 SNAP! Don't get these too often...
BB pushes all-in, I insta call cards get turned over:

    me: A 3
    BB: 6 7

    river card: 4 5 J 2 8

Anybody else ever lose a hand before with a straight flush???
Limit poker is a science, but no-limit is an art. In limit you are shooting at a target. In no-limit, the target comes alive and shoots back at you.

Had one once....and lost money. Me and another player heads up, flop puts out three hearts, bet and call. Turn is another heart, betting gets capped. I have K of hearts, opponent has A. River brings out the straight flush, counterfeiting both of our big hearts (lucky for me) and we check it down. We each lost like 20 cents from the rake taken.

So the best holding you could have had was 97 of that suit? Not that much of a hand IMO.

And yes, I have lost with a straight flush before. $1/2 table with me hitting nut straight flush and getting him all in. Unfortunately, my boss calls and I misclick the call and hit fold instead. That SUCKED!

Wow okay um, Last time I checked, this wasn't a hand analysis thread ....he just asked a simple question, and I gave a simple answer to his question.

And no, it wasn't 97, it was 56, and it was a free BB, so yes, I saw the flop with it. I don't recall saying it was a great hand.

And sorry about your mis-click....that's what happens when we play when distracted...it's happened to us all at some point I'm sure.

Wouldn't happen to me, I'd be like "Look boss, I am fixing to make in one hand what you pay me in a week, go play with yourself for a few minutes and When I win this hand, I'll listen to your senseless babble about P&L and labor costs!"

My bad, wasnt planning on being a jerk but even if it had been a bad beat table, you wouldnt have gotten paid. I agree with OP though, that it's sick to loose with a straight flush to a one-outer on the river for a bigger straight flush
