    Default Back from the Dr...

Good news: Xray showed no obvious abnormalities in my shoulder (yay)
Bad news: Dr was only 80% sure rotator cuff not torn (not so much yay; rather she be 100% sure, but w/e...)

Good news: Visit and Xray only $126 without insurance (yay)
Bad news: Meds prescribed cost over $100 and no generic available (boo)

Good news: I'm off from work til Monday, and the store manager is so pleased with me that he's willing to bend over backwards to ensure I don't end up quitting due to complications between work and my health. (BIG yay)
Bad news: I have to go back to work Monday (lol)

All in all, I'm hoping and praying that the meds the Dr prescribed along with rest and physical therapy will help relieve the pain in my shoulder. If not, she wants me to come back, but sadly after over $200 today, I can't afford a second trip......so this better do the trick or I'll be up the creek...

Anyway, just wanted to update those who knew about this, and let you know that I have yet to be to sleep, so after I eat and take meds, I'm going to crash and crash HARD.

    and hugs to all

Thanks hun I appreciate it. I've started on the physical therapy excersises and it hurts, but not nearly as bad as it did, so I'm hoping 4 days of rest and therapy will be enough to get be back in good enough shape to return to work.

All prayers are always appreciated and returned

    Thanks again

    Hello Lady!
So glad you are doing better! How is the physical therapy going for you?
It took 2 years for my rotator cuff injury to finally heal. I had to stop playing pool and darts for the duration.
Luckily I could still play poker!
I wish for you a speedy and full recovery!

Thanks Lynda...sadly to say the physical therapy is not helping much, as I cannot quit working long enough for it to do any good. I only have 2 days off a week, and my job entails constant lifting, pushing and pulling. So although I try to favor my arm and use the left more than my injured right one, I still cannot avoid using it altogether.

The pain is tolerable now, at least, so that is about as good as it's going to get I'm afraid.

I see you talking but all I hear is blah blah blah
