Default I honestly have never seen a hand played this poorly by all involved.

What follows is a hand played by someone else. This was NOT me. I have changed the identity of the people involved because this is just so ugly it makes me sick.

    Total number of players: 6
    Seat 1: AntiHero = $53.15
    Seat 2: MP1 = $14.80
    Seat 3: Button = $56.20
    Seat 4: SmallBlind = $25.15
    Seat 5: BigBlind = $28.35
    Seat 6: UTG = $88.50

    Dealt to AntiHero [ A, J ]

    PREFLOP:
SmallBlind posts SB $0.25, BigBlind posts BB $0.50, UTG calls $0.50, AntiHero calls $0.50, MP1 calls $0.50, Button calls $0.50, SmallBlind raises $3.25, BigBlind calls $3, UTG calls $3, AntiHero calls $3, MP1 calls $3, Button folds.

    FLOP:
    [ 9, 6, A ] Pot ( $18.00 )
    SmallBlind bets $18. BigBlind folds. UTG calls $18. AntiHero raises all-in $49.65. MP1 calls all-in $11.30. SmallBlind folds. [???] UTG calls $31.65.

Here's a fun thing, did anyone notice the size of the SB's stack after their flop bet? $25.15 - ($3.50 + $18.00) = $3.65 ... yes, that is right... they folded with only $3.65 left. By the time the pot got back to them, it was $68.95 (including only the parts the SB could win) and would be $72.60 after the UTG player calls. They are getting about 18.9-1 on making that call... IF the UTG player folds and better odds if he calls... with two cards to come... and an assured showdown. There aren't many hands I could consider folding in that spot -- and that includes pure bluff hands or small pairs like 2-2... so I would have only one real clean out... less than 5% chance of winning... and I am getting the correct odds to call knowing I can only hit one card to win!

Other fun things, at a 6-max table, AntiHero limps with AJo... instead of raising it. EVERY SINGLE PLAYER calls behind... man the play isn't this bad at $10NL, how can it be this terrible at $50NL? The only play I like in the entire hand is the SB's pre-flop raise to 7xBB. In a normal world, this would have taken the pot down right there. I certainly am never calling this raise with AJo (I might shove if the SB was crazy enough but I am never calling) and find this an easy fold. And everyone else calls too.

And then that action on the flop. The SB basically commits to the hand (or should have but we find out later they haven't) and the UTG player calls... the one player who has AntiHero covered... and AntiHero believes that this is a good place to play for stacks with only a pair of Jacks with an Ace?!?! We end up all-in 3 ways (and it should have been 4).

I am not going to post the results of this hand. I will tell you that a truly horrible player got rewarded... and I can say that with confidence because I see only one relatively sane player in the entire hand (the Button) and he folded pre-flop. I just had to share this hand with you all.

Edit: This hand is not fiction, just to make that clear, it's not a joke... a group of people really did play exactly like this. I have changed only their names... the cards, stacks, and action are 100% accurate.
I get no respect. . . when I move all-in, people from other tables call.

It might be the most horribly played hand ever, but I would still like to know the outcome regardless.

Nope, I wasn't involved with this hand at all. The largest I currently play is $25NL and this is $50NL.

The flop play by the small blind is bad for reasons that you have touched upon.

The rest of the play could depend on game dynmaics and previous history between players, which won't be highlighted in one showdown hand.
For example, after the big blind calls the SB pre-flop raise, the odds are very appealing for the rest of the limpers to play a wide range of starting hands, especially if there is a player that will pay them off after the flop.
What I'm trying to get at is that you shouldn't judge the play of a player, a table, and especially not a level ($0.25/0.50 NL) from one hand. What might look like a horrific play in one hand could be based on a number of factors including tilt, previous play, level of intoxication, and so on from a larger sample of hands that makes it a good play.

You're definitely right about the SB not calling his last $3 as a bad play though.
