    Default online poker

online poker is just raping you raw there is no way in hell you can get the same exact hand 3 times directly in a row its down right impossible so my thoughts are that all online poker sites are rip offs and need to change their site where it is more like real poker and not some rigged bs

If we're talking the same suits... it's like 1.7M-1 against getting the same exact hand three times in a row. If we're talking the different suits... it's much less... 48.8k-1 for pairs... 109.8k for suited connectors of the same ranks... 12.2k-1 for any two offsuit cards (must remain offsuit).

So it's uncommon but certainly not impossible.

I know that wasn't your point... but I didn't really see much of a point so I figured I'd play with the math.
I get no respect. . . when I move all-in, people from other tables call.

If being rigged and getting ripped off means your bankroll steadily increases and you play for free plus collect rakeback, then yes, I am getting totally shafted.

I'm with you. Rakeback makes playing online poker profitable. I'd imagine it's better and better the higher the stakes you play, so I can't see online poker being a bad deal really.

And I *HAVE* gotten the same cards three times in a row in a live game (Ks 2c). I folded it ll three times too

Well, play enough hands and situations like that are bound to happen. i looked for this thread because I got dealt yesterday in the same table in BB, SB, and button the same hand. Well, almost anyway. First I got dealt Qc 5c twice and on the button Qc 5d. During the same session I also got dealt Ad Ah twice in a row. These things happen.
Limit poker is a science, but no-limit is an art. In limit you are shooting at a target. In no-limit, the target comes alive and shoots back at you.
