Live play, are you ready?

I can't wait for our home game weekly tournament (BPL - Basement Poker League) to begin.
We play 12x over the fall/winter, for points and cash money.

The online thing is fun (taking money from people you don't really know).
But the home game offers a variety of emotion and more excitement. (and breaks that we can be leisure with).

Are there others in this forum that will participate in something similiar.

How do you get yourself ready for the Live play vs. online play?

(No stranger to live play here, just want to know your thoughts)

I think I am usually more focused with live play. Online play is just too easy to jump on a computer and click a few buttons to get some poker happening. Live play usually results after I have to take a trip somewhere, or when I have organized something. So approaching live play, my mind is usually more prepared than when I play online. However this extra preparedness usually is turned into a more prepared approach to reading body language and other physical signs at the tables, while online play is only going to give me betting patterns vs potentially time tells. Before live play, I usually sit down at a cash game online about an hour or two before, and then quit and consider how I was playing for the day and adjust accordingly.
