To me playing poker is about the game. I don't think people are donkeys, I think they are inexperienced. If I didn't think that then I would have to admit to being a donkey at one time myself then. Calling some one a donkey is uncool. There's no need for it and all you do is drive that person away maybe. Why not ask them why they played that way instead? possibly help them if they want it. Either way they gave away money and are the people we want at the tables.

I have called some one a donkey before yes but the guy was pushing his stack in almost every hand. I can honestly say Ive never done that in my entire poker career and he was a donkey.

I agree in principle but sometimes the donkey icon in PokerNordica is just too tempting. Last night I wasn't getting the best of cards as it was so when someone sat directly to my left and started pushing all sorts of crap and generally bad mouthing the table I just had to act

Yeah the only ones I deem worthy of the true donkey label are the all-in-every-hand donks...they obviously and clearly know nothing of the game and have no clue what they're doing.

was thinking of throwin some $ on there but it crashes alot on me. But I do like there show one card option and smiles ect found it to be good. OOOps I forgot daily rakeback is cool too.

I do agree that sometimes peoples table manners are really bad and it is hard not too also in that case, when ya catch him making stupid plays.
thats more a revenge thing. Soon as you start putting emotions into the game you are not playing your A game though. One of the worst things you can do is get mad at some one at the table. you gotta let it bounce off you. Youll wind up getting in pots you shouldnt have. People like that is best hit ignore button.
I know it's incredibly hard to do, but when you can you have now reached a new level in your poker game.

I always say the same thing. I hate it when people call other people donk or whatever it may be... All your doing is making them think twice about playing a bad hand against you.

have to confess i am quite liberal with the use of 'donk' etc. its wrong and i know it and strangely i only seem to go there when they hit their terrible hands. i alwayys feel that they should not be rewraded for their lack of effort and thought... if only it were always that simple!
PS sorry for 'rattling the fish tank' - i shall try to improve

I don't like to use the "donkey" or "fish" icons, but some others are good to use when you find yourself at a table with a heavy tilting "chat box whore." Let me explain...it's rather funny...

There are some people who will tilt easily, but then will stick around and keep reloading just so when they do finally win a hand against you they can rag on you. These are awesome ATMs. A guy like this is why I turned $25 into $75 in only 30-45 minutes playing $.10/$.25 one day LOL

I didn't even use anything truly offensive...I just used the "roll" command to make the smiley face that rolls his eyes, because if I remember correctly, the tilt monkey sucked out with runner runner to win a flush with a very poor hand...something like 24s OOP. Once he saw the rolling eyes smiley, he immediately tilted and started chatting away...hence the term "chat box whore." He was so busy typing and reloading after every beat he couldn't play his hand or pay attention to my bets. After about the 4th time he stopped reloading and left, and I was $50 richer LOL

Anyway, although I don't condone the intentional use of the "donkey" and "fish" icons, if you have a good read on someone you know will tilt easily, it's not hard to set them off and make use of it as a strategic tactic. For people like this, I feel like if I don't exploit them someone else will...heavy tilters are not winning players as a general rule, so might as well get the money before someone else beats you to it, because either way, the tilter is going to give it away to someone...might as well be you!
