Default Super Turbo 300 start chip Strategy guide.

Alright due to wants for my stratagy I shall share all for the low price of $19.95 LOL JK. Here is my stratagy for free. All I ask is that you dont use it to beat me and make me broke lol.

    1. Play only as many tables as your comfortable. I play anywhere from 8-12 and every once in awhile I play 16-20 because I have 3 monitors mounted in the dreaded triad for maximum poker power lol.

    2. Always raise all in when your the SB with no callers to the BB. NO matter what. No ifs ands or buts about this.

    3. Anytime you have A10 or better just call. Even if your the SB. THe odds of someone raising is oiver 75%. Then its a simple reraise all in or call all in. Whenever you have a chance to double up early preflop by going in with 66 to a possible AK. Do it. You will win 50% of the time and that will put you in position to cash. Also your just one double up from winning.

    4. Other players. In this SNG format it only leads to 2 basic stratagies. Tight and agressive. No inbetween. your either going to blind down till you hit AK to double up or your going to see players goingh in with A3. Mark the players for there game stratagy. I use red for aggressive and so on. I will mark anywhere between 20-100 players in a 4 hour session. And trust me you will play against most of them again.

    5. Dont let a loss get to you. Thats the beauty of Super turbo. Another one starts every 10 seconds on FTP. And you can play all day without pause. This way you wil always be able to grin d out a profit.

I get a return of like 6% If I played only 4 tables it would be over 12% but I make more money sacrificing some key givaways from players for the excess # of games I can play. Also this has allowed me to make iron man and more FT points than I could ever use lol.

If there is anything else you want to know just post it.

But I would say the key stratagy is to always limp in early position with strong hands due to the overwealming odds of a raiser and then to always play marginal hands like they are AA in late position. Goodluck.

thanks very much, that was very useful. if only i didn't have a 14" laptop monitor!

how do you tend to play marginal hands in EP/MP like low pairs? in a normal tourney i would often limp with these and hope to flop a set but you don't have that luxury in super turbos obviously. do you just throw away any pair less than like 77 unless in LP?

is it worth raising to 3xBB or whatever in LP with a hand you want to play or just shove?
what about min raising, does that have any place in super turbos?

Well with the middle and low pairs are kinda up in the air. THey can be played one of 2 ways. you can raise big (aka half your stack or all in) with them and hope you either take the blinds or go op against AK. Or you can fold. Never call because then you will be out of position for the whole hand and just lose your chips. I usually raise because more often than not with 77 someone will call with 33.

Also one thing I forgot to meantion

Alother huge thing for the super turbos. NEVER raise someone with 200 chips or less unless you have KJ or better. They will call 99% of the time. Because they are low stacked and need to double up to 400 for a chance to cash and will risk it with 67 or better. You wont win enough of those with J10 to justify the raise.

Its funny because I find that I am picking on the big stacks in these tournaments where as everyuwhere else its the small stack that gets pushed around. THe small stack in these games should get the most respect. Hope that helps. Because I find than anyone who had doubled up to 600 chips usually doesnt want to get involved in a hand with AJ or worse. They usually choose to glide into cash then try to double up again and win. I just fight all the way through.

also min raising is pointless. If you have a hand a min raise will only hurt its value. And the min raise is never respected.

Do you always reraise SB regardless of how many people are left or would you have think about ti when you get to a certain point in the game like bubble etc?

even if its the bubble and the big blind and you (small blind) have 20bb each then you should still be shoving 72 offsuit
Poker is a microcosm of all we admire and disdain about capitalism and democracy. Poker can be rough-hewn or polished, warm or cold, charitable and caring, or hard and impersonal, fickle and elusive, but ultimately poker is fair, and right, and just.
