Joke By Doyle Brunson - Pker After Dark
I was watching Poker After Dark Tuesday night (NBC late night) with Doyle Brunson, Howard Lederer, Dee Tiller, Patrick Antonius, Gabe Kaplan, and Elia Elezra. Cash game played six handed, buy in for $100,000, with 200/400 blinds. It's similar to High Stakes Poker on GSN. I may post a new thread about it in the cash game topic.
Anyway, Doyle Brunson told a funny joke:
This guy goes to Heaven, meets St. Peter at the gates and goes in. He see a wall with clocks and people's names under each, so he asks what it's for. St. Peter explains that each person has a clock, and when they tell a lie, it moves one second. St. Peter shows him Mother Teresa's clock - hasn't moved at all. Never told a lie. He shows him Abe Lincoln's clock - only moved two seconds. Impressive. He see a place on the wall for George W. Bush's clock but it's missing, so he asks where it is. St. Peter explains that Jesus has it in his room and uses it as a ceiling fan !
If you always stop while you're ahead, you'll never lose.
