So the question was:

You're playing Texas - but which betting type? Position is important in all poker games. However, it's more important in some than in others.

In which type is position the most important, and it which type is it the least important?

A) Most: No-limit, least: Pot-limit
B) Most: No-limit, least: Limit
C) Most: Pot-limit, least: No-limit
D) Most: Pot-limit, least: Limit

You can reason yourself to the right answer here, even if you don't normally play any specific version.

Position is very important in all poker games, but more in certain ones than in others.

In limit, the position advantage means you'll win or lose one or two extra bets per pot. In no-limit, position means you'll sometimes win or lose a full pot. In other words, position is much more important in big-bet poker than in limit.

On the other hand, you can always go all-in when you're playing no-limit in bad position - and as long as you're all-in, position won't matter for the remaining streets.

You can't make these big overbets in pot-limit, where there's room for bets pre-flop, on the flop, on the turn, and on the river. In other words, having the best position is better in pot-limit than in no-limit.

So: pot-limit, no-limit, limit. That's the correct order.

Position is important in all poker games. I do not think we can summarily rank it by betting limits. If you are last to act it is considered good at all levels in holdem.

As stated, "big bet poker" is where position really comes into play. With that logic NL must be the one. Pot limit is still a limit game, your position can be compromised, you are limited to a pot sized bet, one where the other player can simply check and call a pot amount if they desire, they know the maximum allowable bet and can calculate their odds accordingly. In pot limit you are limited to the amount of pushing done. There is no fear other than a pot sized bet. Pot limit can and often does quickly approach a no limit level where then pot limit position is enhanced due to the possibility of a large stack crushing bet.
