    Default Bad Beat Jackpot

Do you play at the bad beat tables? Does your site offer them?

I do not regularly play the bad beat tables. But, like the Mega-Millions (lottery) I will play them when the jackpot gets to the highest levels. If the bad beat jackpot is larger then normal I will play a couple of .25 - .50 NLH tables for a bit. I pay more rake, but the few pennies are worth it for the chance at a very large payday, and as all of us know you get a percentage of the extra rake returned with normal rakeback. Each site is a little different, but most pay you even if you are at the same table as the bad beat winner, and some pay a small percentage if playing at at any bad beat table at the time of the hit.

I try them out a few times a year, you never know. You can not win if you do not put a little cash into it. Two or Three hundred grand would boost my account big time. As stated above, this is not my regular thing. But it is fun to try once in a while when the pot is large.

    Default UB Bad Beat tables

I do regularly play the Ultimate Bet Bad Beat tables when I play on that site. Those tables are basically the norm where most people play. Also, the JP is won on average about every 4 days for an avg. ~$200,000. The last one (10/17) was $365,000. Players at the same table stakes win a part too so it's a real possibility to share in it. UB takes .50/pot when the regular pot rake is at least .25 (about $5+ pots).

I dont play the JP tables anywhere else (like Porker Nordica or Doyles Room) since those sites are much less popular and winning any of it seems real unlikely.
If you always stop while you're ahead, you'll never lose.

I used to play the $1/$2 BBJ tables on occasion at Nordica. Other than those few occasions I don't really bother with them much.

I see you talking but all I hear is blah blah blah

I play them quite a bit on Absolute. Last month i got $345 just for playing the same limits as the jackpot winner.

Two nights ago the jackpot hit on Absolute and I was sitting at 4 .25/.50 NL tables, the same limit that hit. Each person at the stakes got $305, so I ended up getting $915 for sitting at the same stakes, unfortunately one table didn't have 4 people dealt so I didn't get a share for one table. It was a great boost to the roll, especially since i was in a down swing.

Gamer and I have recently traded $140 or so in the past few weeks from Nordica and Full Tilt, and I have been sitting on a .5/1 bad beat table on Nordica now that I have some cash, and the tables that I have sat on have been relatively easy, atleast 1 big fish and a couple other small fish at each of the tables, I have been either the best player or at least in the top 3 on each table I have played so far. (2-3 hour sittings or so). So I like the bad beat tables, not to mention the 500k jackpot, to even be lucky enough to be at the table is an auto 15k or so.
