Default Wanna Join an Exclusive Double Deuce Club on FullTiltPoker.Com?

I am starting up a club called the Double Deuce Club. On Fulltilt, they have these new tournaments called the Double Deuce, where it's $22 to enter ($20 + $2), with a guaranteed prize pool of $100k every Sunday from now on. That means it's at least 5k players to have the guaranteed prize pool, any more than that and the prize pool goes up! Last I checked, there was a little over 1.2k people registered with 3 pros! And first is GUARANTEED to pay out $19,800! (more detailed in my other post here: http://www.rakeback.com/poker-forum/...292/#post30229)

This is a post to see who would be interested in joining a Double Deuce league on Fulltiltpoker.Com. This league would consist of a regular crew playing either daily or bi-daily for satellites for the Double Deuce the following Sunday. The league would consist of playing for real cash, each time sending one person to the Double Deuce. And the day before the tournament (or before the tournament that day), there would be a freeroll to enter. Money from each prize pool will be taken out of each tournament for this freeroll. There will be a minimum of 3 people going to this Double Deuce tournament every week (my goal is to have a small group of people, but large enough to make the buy-in small, say no greater than $3 a game?). That means our group would need to consist of 10 people, each buying in for $3, to have one person go to the double deuce for 3/4 tournaments, and the 4th tournament will send one more person to it. The 3 who already qualified will not have a chance to play in this freeroll, but will still be able to play in the other buy-in tournaments.

Say we send 4/10 people to this tournament, and 2 of them cash. What we would then do would be either use this as buy-in's for future Double Deuce tournaments, or split the profits 80/20 (80 to the winner, 20 to the rest of the crew). If they cash in the same place making the same money, then both of them would do the 80/20 split (excluding the other person who cashed). But if the win exceeds an amount greater than $5k, then it will be a 80/20 split AFTER taxes are taken out. In the event that the 20% is less than $5 to distribute, that 20% will go into the prize pool for the freeroll to help send someone else to the Double Deuce.

I am willing to talk to FT to try and set up a tournament structure like this one if I get enough players behind me (at least 10 people). The more the better, as it will be more people going to the tournament, and more people splitting the prize pool for profit.

So either post here, or PM me with your FTP username if you are serious about playing in these tournaments. I am planning on making them a friendly satellite crew game in which people get along, have friendly (well, as friendly as you can get at a poker table) game, and send some people to make some major money!

    List of players so far:

I forgot to mention that if there is between 10-14 people, the prize pool will be one entry, plus what ever is left will go into a freeroll prize pool to send more people to the Double Deuce. If between 15-21 people, then it will be 2 entry's plus left over will be put into the freeroll. And if it's 22-29 people, 3 entrys. And max will be 30 players, with 4 entrys and $2 to the freeroll. If the freeroll fails to meet the $22 to enter, then I will try to stake the rest of the cash left over, but I can not make any guarantees. This is why I want as many tournaments as possible. But you must compete in either 3 or 4 of the tournaments to be eligable to play in the freeroll. I am thinking I want to run a tournament once every day, but not too sure. Lets first see if I can get 10 people to join me in this. And if we have 10 people, I will contact FTP about this set-up.

Thats the beauty of these tournaments. You are not obligated to show up to all of the satellites. This is just so there would be a smaller, more friendlier group of people to join this satellite, or just play a fun game in.

Also note: You don't have to show up to even one a week. It can be a rare thing that you hardley ever play. But those people will sign up a bit later on in the process. I just need 10 people who are willing to play in a satellite for $3 a game, roughly 4 games out of the 5. I know I don't have a bankroll for a $3 tournament ($300), but I am going to deposit to play in the fun games.

Simply post here, or PM me if you are truley interested.

Each tournament will have a max of 35 players, but the number of players who will be on the mailing list for the passwords can be unlimited. Even if you have some friends who want to play and are not a part of Rakeback, but are a part of Fulltiltpoker, send me a message and have them contact me and I will sign them up.

Also, if you were to win more than one satellite entry before the week is up (meaning you won two entries for one Double Deuce), then you can do one of two things. One, keep the extra $22, or two, put it onto the freeroll for someone else to have a chance at the tournament.

I'm not saying you were 'doing' anything per say, but that when you said that you wanted me to put you as the referrence, that was kind of spamish. I would have known to put you down as a referrence if they asked for it.

And why not post it here? Rosh or another Mod would have come by and deleted the auto link, but the URL would have still been here so I could have gone there. It just seemed like a spamish PM to me, but like I said before, who knows, you could really be interested, I just did not get that impression. If you still want to sign up, let me know. And you could post a topic like this on your website, and either direct them to me here, or sign people up and tell me there names on here.

By the way, thank you for realizing I am all knowing.

Sounds like a nice site. Maybe you should post a topic there about this and re-direct them here.

Unfortunately, my bankroll still does not permit me to do a 22 dollar buy in...but it may quite soon.

You probably wouldn't worry about what people think of you if you could know how seldom they do.
