I was at a home game tourney about a month ago with mostly people i didn't know. 17 people started top 4 paid, I got 3rd because my table didn't rebuy nearly as much as the other table, consequently when we merged I went from a big stack to a small stack. It's why I hate re-buy tourneys.

To the funny part. We were commenting on favorite hands and I mentioned I like the stealth of J-9 suited, another guy said he like Q-9 ( eh, not crazy). The host ( who is a world-class blow-hard) says he thinks A-10 is awesome. I maintained my demeanor ( as in I didn't burst out laughing). Mr 6-3 offsuit, just reminded me of him...although those of us in the know probably marginally like 6-3 better than A-10 since we have 2 live cards and less chance of domination.
