Default what kind of poker are you looking for??

When you play online there are more options to choose from than a live game. I am going to mention sites that are not rakeback.com/">rake back sponsored, But am giving an honest opinion. Havn't found a rake back site for poker stars to this day.

Traffic: defined as the amount of players actually playing a at one time at one server.
I believe Full tilt and poker stars usually have this locked up.

game play: the way the game plays and options u have in the game. I believe I would put pkr.com and porker nordica in this level first.

Visually pleasing: again I put pkr.com and poker nordica here.

network friendly: how fast can you get back and play if it crashes.
the only real site I ever have a problem with is pkr.com ( also in my case poker nordica crashes constantly on me) there code is good though and I always get back in time unless my PC totally crashes. Damn windows.

Bad beats: full tilt heads down

Again there's lots more sites I play at but for a combination of all these I usually have found these to be the best.

    #1 for me is traffic.

I find that if a site has enough traffic, the other issues have already been taken care of (game options/levels, reliability, ease of use).

I play on 4 of the top traffic sites - Full Tilt, Stars, Titan, Party. I started on Partypoker and the traffic has died somewhat since excluding Americans but I still play a little there.

As far as bad beats, I actually don't see any difference between any sites! When I opened my account at Full Tilt, I swore it was rigged in some way for all the bad beats I received early on, but everythig evened out after a while.

I have accounts on 4 sites because I try to take advantage of any promos going on at different times while I build my bankroll. At the end of each month I usually find that I have won/earned money on 3 sites and lost money on 1 site. The one losing site seems to alternate radomly between the 4.

Default solid play is all I need

Poker sites in general are all the same. You get the suckouts where ever you play. (even in the home game or casino). Solid play can be easily recoginzed. Learn the bad play and cash in on it. The solid play will be noticed and play the cards when you get them, since the solid player will lay down.

    Sitting has some hope.
