I believe this is a feature on PokerNordica. But many poker sites don't do this.
When playing poker live, and you show your cards (which would probably be rare considering you shouldn't do that in the first place), then it's usually to see the other persons cards, or show the other players what you are playing like.
I personally think it would be more confusion if people did that on FTP due to it's already fast playing style. If people clicked the "Show and Fold" button, then they would not know if they called or not. PokerNordica does this because they show clearly who folds, when, etc. They fade the player away and show there cards if they are folding, or just fade them away and muck there cards, and the last person unfaded wins. But on FTP, they do not have any clear indicator on who folded, when, etc. Only the fact that there are no cards in front of them is that the sign that they folded. If they show there cards and they fold, but your still in the hand, you would be confused as to what the action was, how you won, so on and so forth.
So I am sure FTP as thought of this feature (due to so many pro's being there that some of them have to give feed back), but it just wouldn't fit into there playing style.
