He was at another table but we were watching each other play, next thing i know he says check your account. WHAT? I checked and he had transfered $100 to me, i said thnx and we went about our business, an hr later i was up to $280, he and i have been friends for 20+yrs, he knew i would give it back, and i did that same day.
Stupid question: why are you plaing 2/4 with a bankroll of 170? Bankroll management anyone??

Apart from that, apart from the single buck here and there, i don't borrow money to play.

Speaking of loans, would anyone have interest in staking me? I would be willing to return investment +10%. Ive been a member of rakeback for a year and over the summer was running really well. Then believe it or not I got cheated out of most of my bankroll playing 5/10 nl on AP. Steamroller tilted me bad, he was calling down all the way with just a high card when i would bluff. I thought he was just dumb so i stuck around and lost so much. Then AP admits there was cheating, but they say it was very isolated, which is BS. I saw reports later that Steamroller was one of the accounts the 'super user' had. No wonder he was calling huge bets with J high, he knew i missed because he could see my cards. LOL

I agree...one should only play with what is allowable by their budget. Gambling is entertainment. If you lose, well then you've paid for your entertainment. If you win, then it's just an added bonus.

I have given loans to players whom I've played with regularly and have become "friends" with. And, I am happy to say, they've always paid back their debt.
I see you talking but all I hear is blah blah blah
