    Thanks rakeback!

Bty, LOVE the new prize layout! Probably the best change besides the double stacked tourneys.

    Good luck everyone.

    Default New Prize Structure

I too like the new prize structure paying top 5. I had suggested a few months ago at least the top three always get paid. This is a freeroll for active RB posters to encourage quality posts and comments. I think the wealth should be spread around so many members can feel they got some benefit from spending their time and effort posting. Thanks again RB.

I love the new payout too. And I hope it stays like that.

Here's a fun statistic. Since last week was probably the last tournament with a $70 prize, I was lucky enough to win both the first and last $70 prize in the PTOTW.

lol... if I was nearly as good of a player as that suggested, it would be awesome. I just got lucky both times. And, as everyone can attest, I usually make nothing. It was just coincidence that two of the times I took first happened to be the first and last with that payout.
I get no respect. . . when I move all-in, people from other tables call.

Oh, the payout structure has changed... Well, that means that I'll be out 6th. That has definetely been the trend everytime I've participated. I should probably change my screenname from fictive to "bubble boy"

Anyway, thanks for the nomination, I'll try to make it.
Limit poker is a science, but no-limit is an art. In limit you are shooting at a target. In no-limit, the target comes alive and shoots back at you.

I wouldn't say you were lucky frob. I mean, I did hit quads on you and you still beat me.

What can I say. I had a hammerlock on the heads up play. NinnyMuggin was just luckier than I could have hoped for. The real turn around was their all in with 10 7 os and I called with A 9 os. Hit a 7 and that was it. We were even in chips, and turned a straight on me to KO me... gg all.

I can't complain at taking 4th as I was missing flops all night. Cheers rakeback.

Gamer, you had 10-10 4 handed, should've been putting me all in pf or folding, my opinion of course. Anyway, grats on second and well done the winner, whoever you are.

I enjoyed it. It sucks that I knew my aces got cracked by a set before I called, but I figured it was JJ, as I couldn't see anything less calling the big reraise preflop. It was 10 10 that got it, so my read was half right lol either way I was beat Oh well...I knew it was a set after he shoved, but I pretty much had to call cuz if not I'd have been screwed anyway (wouldn't have had hardly any chips left) lol I suppose I could have shoved preflop, but I'm not entirely sure he'd have even folded to that...not sure, new faces are hard to put a specific read on.

Anyway it was fun. Nice to see some new faces in the midst. GG all.

    Default Good Game All.

That was fun, and a good win for me. Prize payout of 50 bucks is sweet.

I hope to make a couple of more of these.

I would have folded an all in preflop with the tens lilady.

gamerForLife, I had to call with 7 10, hoping to have two live cards, you were blinding me to death. You have to get lucky to win.

You didn't call, you pushed all in, remember? I called with A 9. And you still had a few blinds left to wait for a better hand than 10 7 os IMO.

Edit: I am not saying it was the worse play in the world, I was just saying my opinion and that it was the turn around point in the game in the heads up play. Now granted if you had waited a few more hands, then shoved, you would have picked up a few blinds here and their and it probably would have been the same.

I was thankful for the invite, and in finishing third. I also liked PokerNordica very much. It was my introduction to the site, and I look forward to building a bankroll there in addition to Ultimate Bet.
