NBC Heads Up Championship 2009

I've been following online the NBC HU tourney at Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas this month. Sixty four (64) players were invited playing single elimination matches. The final four are:

1) Vanessa Rousso vs. Bertrand Grospellier

2) Sam Farha vs. Huck Seed

The winners will play in a best-of-three match for the championship.

Rousso defeated Doyle Brunson, Paul Wasicka, Phil Ivey and Daniel Negreanu along the way which is pretty good.

Phil Hellmuth made the final eight. He did beat Tom Dwan. I'll post the winner when it's over.

EDIT: SEMI FINAL RESULTS:

1) Rousso defeated Grospellier
2) Seed defeated Farha (very long match)

FINAL RESULTS:

Seed defeated Rousso in two games.

Wow. Vanessa is on FIRE! (and she's pretty hot too.) She defeated Daniel (my poker idol), and thats a true feat IMO. Did Phil H. outlast Tom "Durrr" Dwan?

what was nice to see in the interview after was him apologising for being such a dick at last years nbc HU championship when durrrr's TT beat his AA.

hope huck seed wins, he so deadpan.

rousso probably luckboxed her way to the semis to be fair.

I totally agree phosphorescence. Russo is a pro, but by no means should she have been in the top 4 IMHO. And out of all thsoe players, Huck should and probably would take this title down.
