    Default Loose passive/aggressive players

People who are calling stations but rarely raise preflop but also play the post flop aggressively. You know they are playing a lot of garbage hands with a VPIP over 40% and a PFR of say 3-7% but yet have an Aggression Factor of 2.5 or over. What's the best way to approach this type of players on a 6-max cash table? I have to admit I'm a bit puzzled by this type of behavior and could use some advice.

Play them in position and play TAG and you'll own them. Throw in some tricky plays and they'll end up giving you their chips eventually.

I struggle with this type, too. I'm a TAG, but I never seem to get enough of a hand to push the LAG to the river.

Firstly, make sure you're sat to his left so you have position on him always. Secondly, tighten up and choose your spots wisely. He isn't raising PF too much so you get to see many hands cheap and you can always raise PF yourself to force out others if needed. It's a game of patience.

Oh, dont try bluffing him either, it's pointless.

I would run across this type of player on an off occasion in the past but I've been seeing them on a more frequent basis lately. That sounds good: just be paitent and wait to pop them them with a big hand. Thanks for the help.
