Default 6-max $25NL, AJo in the BB.

Ok, here's a spot I have a question about and I would like some opinions.

You have A-Jo in the BB

UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $0.25, and then it folds around to you in the BB.

You have 100xBB and UTG+1 has you covered. Are you automatically raising here? Or are you checking and playing A-Jo out of position on the flop?

My gut says raise. But I feel like we're folding the hands we get value from if we hit and are getting called by the hands we don't want to have A-J out of position against. But maybe it's just better to take the pot here and avoid playing it out of position entirely.
I get no respect. . . when I move all-in, people from other tables call.

AJ for me is strong enough to go ahead and raise here, I'd probably draw the line at about AT or something, mind you I've played like 2000hands in the past 3months, rusty ftl

Most of the time yes, I'll be raising here, AJ is strong enough. Naturally, it's not an automatic raise. Got to think a bit, how is the table, what sort of a player is it that limped, etc... I'll probably raise 9 times out of 10 at that spot.

Oh, I missed at first that this was 6-handed. I'm not much of a short-handed player, but 6-max I think I'll be raising here every single time.
Limit poker is a science, but no-limit is an art. In limit you are shooting at a target. In no-limit, the target comes alive and shoots back at you.

Yep 6-max I'm always raising AJ... especially with only one guy in the hand... so yeah, raise it up ftw

I see you talking but all I hear is blah blah blah
