Default If you never bluff can you be a winning player?

This is something I have always wondered. Assuming your opponents didn't know that you would never bluff. So no more continuation bets if you miss. No bets on the flop with only bottom pair. You can check raise with good hands but you can't lead out with crappy ones. This is something I have always wondered. I know it also depends on what limits you are playing so for arguments sake lets just say any.

Do you think you could win in the long run?

Yes! its impossible for everyone to know that you don't bluff. it wouldn't be the optimum strategy but online multitabling it can be quite effective.

i almost never bluff and i've been profitable over time. i deposited $50 each on full tilt and poker stars. i've withdrawn about $2000 total over the past 2 years without ever losing my bankroll. i think it's a solid strategy for multi-table tournaments. once you get to the final table, then you have to get a little more aggressive as the blinds are up and people are eliminated. but i've made it to dozens of final tables without a single bluff along the way. that said, i mostly play $3-$6 multi-table tourneys where you can't bluff anyone out of a hand anyway. so you might as well not try.

    Default Bluff

I strongly suggest you bluff once and awhile. Bluffing has it's advantages but i agree with a post on here it depends on the table stakes for me.If you are in a tourny that is between $1 and $5 most people won't be bluffed and then again when the table stakes are low you get donks who will call anyway.

I think you can be successful, but you would be removing a weapon from your arsenal. I dont bluff often, but if I can create the right table image and use position effectively, I will bluff a bit more than I usually do.

I use semi-bluff sometimes and it works if used with position.
