    Default Omaha Bankroll

I've heard that Omaha has a much higher variance than hold'em. If the variance is high, then you must be better rolled for the limits you'd be playing. I'm just wondering what kind of adjustments need to be made when playing omaha in regards to bankroll management. How many buy ins should you have to enter a certain stake?

I would say having 30 buyins or more and you should be fine. Alot depends on the level of game you are playing as well. In games with only good players it is alot higher variance with only set vs flush and wrap type hands getting alot in the pot. But at some of the lower limits you can see hands like top set vs. bottom two pair getting the money in on the flop.

I've heard people saying they're more comfortable with 40 x buyin as it can be brutal when running bad. I'd say 30 is probably enough on the lower limits though as some really haven't a clue to what they're doing and are literally playing any 4 cards and hoping.
