So the threads last day and Where is everybody?! have got me thinking....2012 is coming soon. The year many prophets have predicted to be the last year of earth. May it be some astronomical interference or some religious second coming, we are all going down (or up) in 2012. There's actually a movie coming out soon titled 2012 that is looks to be somewhat badass, but the ending is soooo predictable. So, here's my theory. Everyone is stockpiling food and building an underground bunker (Simpson's did it!).

12/21/12 is just supposed to be end of the Mayan calendar. It's the common thought that the world will end, but that's not directly related to this date.

I have no idea who this guy is but he summed it up mostly haha. It's simply the end of one era and the beginning of another. There is apparently going to be a significant change in the world, leading to possible destruction.

If it is a choice of playing poker in a dirt-bag socialist country, or no poker in a fully capitalistic USA ( like the country was founded on ) I'll choose the latter. Poker is great, but if you are basing you electoral decisions based on who supports it you are a complete moron. Socialism has never worked, and it never will.
