Default Q is it possible to become a worse player

i never used to tilt, well rarely anyway. i am getting increasingly tilted by everything , beats , abuse in the chatbox , bad play ........and so on. my own manner at the tables has changed and not for the better, as i can be a little tetchy in my remarks in the chatbox as well. the hero calls i sometimes make are more a product of ego than any gut instinct. have a feelin if i wasn't disciplined that i could murder the bankroll very quickly if i didn't walk away from the computer. think im turning into into tuff fish only with a irish accent - daggum it

    Default Definitely possible.

I do the same thing, once you get donked so many times, you start playing like a donk to try to win like the villains.

What needs to happen in poker rooms, is an option that allows you to stop playing once you lose so much money. Like say you get locked out for an hour after you lose 100 bucks, or something to that effect,

I guess turning the chat off would help. As for start playing like a donk, you know it isn't right so why do it. Discipline is one of, if not the main, ingredients of online poker. Easier said than done I know as I usually go the opposite way and tighten up too much until the variance is swinging my way again.

I have a tilt problem with chat, so I turn it off.
If you find it bothers you, distracts you, or whatever, by turning off the chat you have an easy fix.
Some players use the chat to their advantage, and since I fall victim to this, by blocking chat I am only helping myself out.
I've improved a bit, but observer chat/begging/railbird commentary still drives me nuts.

Is there a way to turn off the bad beat option?

    Yes. It's the "uninstall" button.
