    Default "keplers" is a machine!!!

i saw this guy 8 tabling the 1-.25 9 hand sngs and i checked his scope and his stats are sick....i dont know if anyone knows him or maybe hes on here? or has better stats.

but THATS what i want to achieve. im curious as to how he multi tables such low limits with so many donks and fishes and makes such great profit??

7% ROI, 494 games, $200 profit, average buy in of $2. It's not crazy insane. 7% at the lower limits isn't absolutely spectacular. He's also had a pretty big win with a $24 buy in... where he banked like $150 net or something.

Erm, it's a lot easier to profit off fishes than people who know what they're doing. This ROI isn't that great either for such tiny stakes, 15% would be possible and even then I wouldn't be impressed cos all you have to do is play level 1 poker. Sorry. Show me this ROI at $50 and I'll be impressed.

Also, all good SnG players multitable, 6-9 being standard.

i played in a tourney with veritaz yesterday actually, he's pretty bad.
let himself get blinded down to 2.5BBs before shoving.

Get more experience. You keep asking for tips/advice... just get out and play some poker. I mean... honestly... we've given you tips, you say you've read the books... now go practice what you've learned. It's not going to happen overnight, and it's not going to be easy to get to the level of the people you are wanting to get to. But go get some experience, and then come back and you can ask questions about your experiences and learn more, but until you start going out and trying, we can only help you so much.

i am playin....ALOT. matter of fact i just lost almost my entire bankroll.

i keep wanting to know what to do when your waiting around the whole tourney just catching a5o k3o....just junk. i end up having to push with Ax and most the time loose, so the next tourney i play ill loosen up to try to make something of these crap cards im getting. just to lose the pot to a better hand. even folding when i know im beat post flop. seems like im just not catching any of the hands that the books and videos are talking about playing.

SNG poker requires a pretty standard approach particularly at the lower buy in levels. You are constrained by the scope of your stack size from the outset e.g. You barely have set value when calling a standard 4 BB raise.

Given the constraints you can be fairly mechanical in your approach. It is critical to understand your push range based upon position and relative stack sizes. This will also help you to appreciate when a call is likely to be good against opponents pushing "All In". Also it is well worth taking notes on other players ranges, how they play strong & Weak hands etc.

There are numerous videos on SNG strategy on sites like "Cardrunners" "FTP Academy" etc. So just watch, learn and incorporate into your own game.

SNG's are a grind, you have to play within a strong bankroll and learn to deal with the boredom that comes with what is (essentially) quite monotonous play. This is one reason to play multiple tables evantually.

I have busted myself a number of times, by playing at a higher level than was sustainable, playing drunk, playing on tilt or just not fully focused.

Having screwed up a number of times I have sat and forced myself to play at $6 only with 40+ Buy ins in my bankroll. My game is just starting to turn around at that level, but I still do not play optimally a lot of the time.

When you have less than 10 Big Blinds in any tournament, you should shove almost any two cards in the small blind vs the big blind (maybe not the bottom 10-12% of hands), I promise it is a +Ev play. Also download holdem manager or another hud, my game was average until I was able to see the actual numbers behind opponents play. This helps in multitabling so you don't have to sit and watch the action you can just look over their stats and make a better decision.

SitNGo Wizard is the ideal tool for helping you to understand the fundamentals of SNG Push/Fold Strategy. It effectively reviews your hands and tells you what you should have done!!

Unfortunately IMO HUDS such as Poker Trakker have limited value due to the changing blind structure and associated gear changes adopted by your opponents.

I agree that for ICM decisions SNG Wizard is going to be best. But a hud helps after you get a history with the player.

That's why people multi-table. The reality of any tournament is you ought to be only playing relatively few hands until such a time as when blinds become worth stealing/critical etc.

First advice, read up on bankroll management and controlling tilt. These two subjects will keep you from losing beyond what you should.

You're hardly ever going to catch the hands the books and videos talk about. That's why they're considered "premium" hands. You can't sit around and wait for them, most especially in tournaments. You have to learn to bluff. Bluffing successfully requires good position and solid reads, and it helps if others respect your image.

So advice for this part of your post: Read up on bluffing, using position and reading opponents.

Hope that helps. There's no such thing as reading too much, and nobody can ever learn it all. You've got to have discipline and will power if you want to make poker more than a hobby.
I see you talking but all I hear is blah blah blah
