I am going to try and play 40 hours of poker this month. It isn't much and there have been many months in the past where I have played more. But I haven't been playing lately because of problems and work. So I am trying to get back on it. I've had months where I played over 130 hours before. But it has been a while.
So far this month, I have only played 6.4 hours. That is basically nothing. So I am going to commit to making it to 40 hours. That's an average of an hour and 36 minutes a day. It is certainly possible. I'll probably do 3 hour sessions so I can take days off -- I'm not in the mood to play every day right now.
Current:
Ring: 6.2 hours
Tournament: 0.2 hours
It's a dumb goal but it is one I will stick to. It also gives me time to turn around my $10NL results. Those haven't really improved since I posted about them a long time ago because I haven't been playing.

I think it's good to set small goals like this one, because it shows your discipline. There are some people out there that don't set goals at all, or else they set unrealistic ones and go broke trying to reach them. I think your system is going to work just fine for you.
I see you talking but all I hear is blah blah blah
Crazy hot... what can I say.
This much free time is not good for me. Playing like that is why I took a break from poker in the first place.
