    Played in Full Tilt's $16,000 guarantee tourney today that started at noon Eastern time.


    $24 + $2 entry fee

    709 Entrants

    Top 72 made the money

    1st place: $4,083.84

    Winner: TheLakeDweller!!!!!


    This is a good confidence boost heading to Vegas to play the Main Event.

    And of course I can't forget.....$0.54 in rakeback from this tourney.

    Congrats. I have yet to win a big event like that. Nice job. That has to feel good before going to the main event.

    That's truly an amazing win Lake, congrats!!! By far the best I've seen in a long time. Three cheers! Again, don't forget to wave at us when you go to Vegas and get on TV I'll be looking for you!!!

    Congratulations. It's always nice to hear of success like that. Well done. And, yes indeed, spend it wisely (and don't forget helping charities if you ever end up pro some day) Meanwhile, any particular tips in that tourney, for us please?

    No secret formula, whitenight. I played good, solid, patient poker for the entire tournament. I also made some really good reads on players betting with weak hands and getting them to lay those hands down. Of course, I also had a good bit of luck.

    Hopefully, the good fortune will continue.
