Winning on each poker site

I have played many of the poker sites freerolls and I find the first time playing on each site, i place in the money. After that it's hard to place. Was wondering if others have had the same experiences?

Not at all. The very first time I played online poker, I busted $20 a friend sent me in a day... I don't think I actually even placed in anything but 1 $1 sng, and it definitely wasn't the first sng I played. I didn't attempt online play again for a few months.

You must believe you are going to win. Keep up with the good play and you will win.

It's probably just luck of the draw. But if you're new to poker it's possible that you're playing tight your first few games. Then when you win, you start to think you're just that good. And start playing lesser hands. This happened to me the first time I played. It was a $30, 30-player live tournament. I was afraid to embarrass myself, so I only played premium hands. I ended up taking first for $500. The next week, I thought everyone would be afraid of me and started to bluff. I was one of the first knocked out. I learned my lesson pretty quick and got back to playing tight.
