Hello Everyone,
I am new here and have a few questions.
1) Which site do you prefer?
2) Can you make a living online and if so how much can you actually make on a monthly basis?
Sorry if this sounds dumb I am just starting out online.

1) As for this question, I tend to like the Merge network sites, such as Poker Nordica. A lot of people don't like them, but I found comfort there. A lot less all in donkaments there, unlike sites like Full Tilt. Not to mention the fees for Nordica aren't nearly as numerous as Full Tilt. I guess to summarize, I don't like the monstrosity sites, i.e. the super big sites. I like the more comfortable smaller ones.
2) The amount you can make playing online depends on a lot of factors. Skill level, self-discipline, will power, and bankroll control being the main of those. I don't think there's a cap on how much you can make. It just depends on how much you have got to work with money-wise to start your bankroll out, and then how well you manage your money, both your starting bankroll and your winnings.
I see you talking but all I hear is blah blah blah

most of my play has been on pokerstars and recently i found this site and sighed up for rackback on fulltilt.
i have always thought pokerstars was the best site because of game selection and great support but since playing at fulltilt i am really loving the blind structure over pokerstars.
multi-tabling is still easier for me on pokerstars but i am getting use to fulltilt's software.
as for making a living, anything is possible but don't expect it to be easy. if your just now starting to learn strategy then don't expect to become a success over night.
most players never see much profit. i would estimate about 30% make some profit and only 5% make enough to make poker a full-time job.
playing for a living is tough, your better off making poker a hobby and supplement your current income with your profits.
