Fractional VPP

PokerStars has fractional VPP now! Which is great for the micro players. We no longer need the pot to hit $8+ to get anything. We get a percentage of a VPP based on the amount of rake. At least I assume that is how it's done.

I didn't play enough to figure out the exact numbers. But before, my session today would have earned me 3VPP. Today, that session earned me 7.16VPP. That's a major difference. And, assuming I play on there more, it will add up. I might actually be able to benefit from their rewards program.

Nice! I'm glad they finally did this for the micro cash games. It does seem as though it will hurt the micro sng players though. Prior when you played a $5.50 sng, you got 3 points. Now you'll only get 2.5. So the new system will benefit those playing cash games, but hurt those playing sng's... at least at the micro level.

looks like it's only for heads up and some 6max games at the moment.
