Thanks unfortunately starting this weekend I'll be working away from the house again which means no more weekend tourneys for me GL to those that play.

Thanks for the nomination, good luck everyone, and see you on the felt!

Keep posting on the forums and contribute some interesting posts/threads and you're sure to get an invite in no time at all. Unfortunately, this week's invitations have already gone out so it's too late. But there is always next week.

Great game every one. I played terribly. I was so card-dead that I just decided to go with AQ when I should have been able to lay it down easily. It was a total braindead moment. Anyway, here are the current numbers.

Thanks for the points update frob.

I played like a donk this tourney, decided to try and be the aggressor in position for this tournament and made a move with a hand that I shouldn't have. At least I dumped those chips off to the person who won. Good game everyone.

Unfortunately it looks like you can take me off the list, Frob. I will no longer be able to play in these unless they change to weekdays.... working 11:30am to 6pm Saturdays and Sundays now. *sniffle* It was fun while it lasted...

We couldn't hold the tournament after you start work? Since you are a big regular in these tournaments and it wouldn't be that big of a difference (would be after 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. my time, and on Sunday, I can spare 1-2.5 hours a day around that time for this). Or even make it 9 p.m. your time (6-7 p.m. my time) would be ok. I don't think people usually have plans for those times, because it's either plans for really late, or earlier than that going for the whole day and then you would know if they could make it that day or not.

This is just a suggestion because I would hate to see a regular and a cool gal to hang out with not be able to play.

    Thanks for the tourney.

From what I saw, I thought it was well played.

As said, I play under "jameric4" on FullTilt.

I would hate to see you not be able to play lilady.... I like Gamer's idea of changing the time... I think Sunday evenings would be a good time.

I think this is enough of the lilady "love-in".

Rakeback.com is good enough to put this tourney on. They even started a thread about suggestions of how to change it for the better. They seem to have moved it (permanently?)to FullTilt at a regular scheduled time. I'm sure the time and place was based on the feedback from from that thread.

Now, some of you guys want to move it because someone in your "clique" can't play. It comes across as a sense of entitlement to play in this weekly. There are probably 30-40 different forum members who will get selected at different times over the next year. There will be many who will not be able to play for whatever reason.

I got invited several times while the tourney was at Nordica. I refused to start another account just to play in this, so I quietly ignored it.

Lilady, I know you were not asking for special treatment and you have done nothing wrong in letting others know you wont be able to play.

Thanks all for the kind hearted suggestions, but as allthatremains put it so well, nobody should have to change what they're used to or what they agreed upon for one person. There have been times in the past where my schedule conflicted with the tourney times, and I had to wait until something changed with my schedule to make it possible again for me to play. So this is not the first time this has happened. And just as with before, I won't leave because of it. I stay here because I've made some great friends and I enjoy keeping in touch with all of you.

Just a side note to allthatremains - I don't nor have I ever believed in "cliques" - and I don't claim anyone as such.

I will reiterate my suggestion for improving the tournament. Since not everyone can make it at a certain time/day each week, why not change the day of week/time of day? That way, it will eventually be convenient to most of the nominees.

Personally I think the best time to have the tournament would be Sunday evening. I would like to see it switched BUT only if a lot of people want it changed as well. I am ok with the time right now but I think it would be a lot more convenient on Sunday evening. Even though most of the people playing are in the US, I think we have to consider what time it would be in Estonia. I know a lot of you like playing with the rakeback staff as well.

Well I'm so fckin sorry for trying to make a suggestion because I have a flexible schedule and I would hate to see such a cool person not be able to play after all the times she has played...

You'll be missed if you can't make it but life sucks. And it's better to have a job than an entry into a freeroll. I'll take the job any day of the week.

I'm going to leave you in the spreadsheet for now. You never know if something might change and you can come back. I am also thinking of changing it in the near future to include only top 5-10 wins or whatever... once we have enough games to make that reasonable. So people who don't play as often still have a chance. It would suck for a player new to the site in 6 months, who suddenly starts playing often and doing well, to be so far behind as to never catch up. The ranking system is still in beta. And who knows what changes will come in the future.
