Just a heads up for people
I'm currently reading Mike Matusow's autobiography and find myself enthralled with every sentence. But if you've not the time currently, bear in mind that it's the ideal long journey read, as it will keep you gripped from cover to cover. Admittedly, I wasn't particularly a fan of Matusow before reading it, but now I really empathise with him and wish him the very best. He's a great guy for sure and if you were in any doubt as to why he has so many fans, his book will set the record straight for you.
It is a partly about fighting to succeed at poker and fighting to win control of something which has even more variance: his very mind & its demons. And it is the always present element of self destruction, fear, doubts, mistakes and danger which, when mixed with a volatile rock and roll lifestyle, makes the story so compelling.
It almost doesn't matter how his story is told, the mere fact that it is told is almost reason enough to become absolutely engrossed in this book - as you'll no doubt find.
I rate it as highly as "The Man With The Shades", arguably one of the best poker biographies - only Mike's is an autobiography; regardless, all of you who haven't already read either, you should check them out a.s.a.p.![]()

. Since I seem to have a ton of time on my hands, as soon as it ships, I'll probably read through it pretty quickly. If I'm disappointed in it though, I'm blaming you whitenight.
