    Default noob question

Hi...my first post here...I've been playing online for about 2 years....just now interested in rakeback. ..question is: should i delete old accounts and set up new ones on my poker rooms so I qualify for rakeback?

    thanks for the help.

I have active accounts on UB & FT, should I re-activate under another name in order to use Rakeback, won't they have my e-mail address on file and know what I'm doing?

    Hi everyone

Our rakeback loyalty programs are for new accounts only, unless stated otherwise. Why?
Because Rakeback.com has signed an affiliate contract with each respective rakeback poker room. We agree to refer new players to these poker rooms, and they in turn will pay Rakeback.com a share of the lifetime profit that our players generate. The rakeback loyalty payments are made from this commission we get for referring loyal customers to their poker room. Since the poker rooms know exactly how much rake you generate, we are able to pay you rakeback accordingly.

So in effect you pay rake to the poker room, the poker room pays Rakeback.com a part of your rake as commission, and we will in turn pay you rakeback from our commission.

Since we only get commission on players that register a new account to a poker room with our link/code, we unfortunately cannot pay rakeback to players with an existing account at the poker room.

You can find the same information and more in the FAQ section of our website: Rakeback FAQ | Rakeback.com

The terms and conditions of poker rooms do not allow a person who has an existing account to open a second account under his/her name. It is possible to try and create a second personal poker room account, but the poker rooms can detect this and do not tag your second account with any affiliate code. Duplicate accounts should also be closed by poker rooms.

So its better to open a new account if you want faster sign-up process and no problems with Poker Rooms in future
