Default my pocket aces go down faster than a sub

I doubt this has happened to many around here, but i would call this the most annoying bad beat of my life. im in a 90 man SNG on FTP, for 3+0.30 buy in.
anyways, im in the last 13 players at 3rd place with 31K in chips and i get pocket aces in the small blind, what could go wrong.
well... according to the Murphy law, everything can go wrong.
the short stack at the table pushes all in, he is sitting one after the UTG player.
everyone starts to fold until it gets to the button. he re-raises to 6 K.....
i take a few seconds a re-raise to 11K. he takes his time and then goes all in.
im thinking i nailed the little bugger while he has KK.
i call immediatly and see he has pocket aces as well, the red ones. the short stack that had pushed had pocket 10's in this hand. with no big surprise, he spikes a 10 on the flop.
i dont reall mind since the pot with him was very small.
here is the part that got me wondering if i could survive jumping out of my window.
the turn and the river come out very fast and i see the chips go quickly towards the other pocket aces, before i even was able to register what had happened.
i wait a few sconds, trying to figure out what had happened until the LAST HAND option pops up for this specific hand. i click on it and sure enough, the turn anf the river came out as hearts..... giving the little prick a flush.
im not gonna elaborate but i recovered and made 3rd place.

P.S my last hand i had pocket 10's vs pocket 4. i know this sounds fishy but i swear it happpened. my enemy got his 4 on the river. i screamed into my pillow for about 20 seconds.

i've been on both ends of AA vs AA hitting a flush. play enough poker and you'll see everything.

Agreed. I've had T6 V T6 where we've both flopped 2 pair and got it all in on the flop just to see runner runner and he hits his flush. It will happen to all of us in time though. Play enough and we all get dealt the same cards and the same luck come the end.

well, it does happe to everyone, but i seem to be vulnerable to that kind of nonsense.
i rarely get runner runner and probably because i try to only play when im ahead, so naturally ill be proned to more bad beats. its just irritating at times when your concentrating and playing well for an hour, you think you're being rewarded by getting aces but your actually losing all that hard worh in a whim.
then again, Full Tilt isnt named that way for no reason.

I dont think anyone gets runner runner that often, it just feels like it when we get beat in this manner on a regular basis. Play heads-up against the same player over & over and the bad beats will even out.

Of course we all aim to get our money in ahead but there's situations where you cant help your KK being behind AA or your JJ being behind Mr Aggro who has just shoved the last 10 consecutive hands pre-flop. Sometimes we'll hit our 2 outer for a set and other times we'll miracle a straight or 4 suited cards to the flush (as just happened to you). Then there's the times where your top pair improves to nut flush or runner runner to make the nut boat Vs villain's badly played flopped set (lower boat). Like I said, we all get the same luck come the end...just dont make the same mistakes as lesser opponents and you'll be a winner.
