Default Rake deductions by full tilt

I have decided to close my account with full tilt poker, they pay 27 percent rakeback and in the last 2 months have deducted 110 dollars of my rake for depositing funds with them so in efect we pay to deposit our money this is a total abuse in my book and i wont be robbed like this, your views are welcome

Are you sure it wasn't the take 2 promotion and the sign up bonus that was your deduction? Also if you have to constantly deposit money into your account maybe you're better of focusing on your game play instead.

Looking at my rakeback, it seems I had deduction from the first deposit freerolls that I cashed in, Seems I owe FT $5 of rake at the moment as I've meant to have about $1 the past two month instead of $6 I've received. All those generous bonuses and promotions are pretty weak when deductions are taken into account. I wonder if those freerolls that requires 4 hrs of grinding count as deduction. Playing them for fun might be more costly than I thought. -_- Not impressed by FT.

Lol, it's not like they take money out of your account. You just don't get as big of a rakeback payment. From my experiences, deposit fees range from $2-4ish, so this puts you depositing 27 times minimum in the last 2 months? I agree with the previous post. Perhaps you should focus on your game.

Well maybe you can do the ooposite of what a lot of other people have done. Open up a second FullTilt account WITHOUT rakeback. Yes, this will get back at those bastards. You will never again see a deduction for any deposit, withdrawal, freeroll, spending points or medals, clearing bonuses, or FullTilt topped up guaranteed tournaments.

    Yes, of course.

Full Tilt is giving you back 27% of the NET rake you paid if you have a rakeback deal. Players who constantly are withdrawing and depositing are getting hit with their portion of the fees for thiese tranactions. Maybe Full Tilt is making a profit on these fees or maybe it's their actual cost. - I don't know.

The point is, all of this is laid out quite clearly on this site. If Full Tilt didn't deduct these fees from your rakeback then the original rakeback deal would have been lower. Like 20% instead of 27%. Then you could keep it all, but would be no further ahead.

Plan ahead before making making a wthdrawal or deposit. Understand the rakeback hit. Or just close your account. - I don't care.
