Default Ppa in kentucky - court hearing october 22nd - open to the public!

I couldn't go to bed without sharing this email:

AND YOU'D BETTER BELIEVE IF THERE IS ANY WAY POSSIBLE FOR ME TO BE THERE, I WILL BE! I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT ANYONE ELSE IN THE AREA PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT OUR RIGHTS!

    Dear Erica,

Next week, the Kentucky Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in regards to the Commonwealth's ill-conceived effort to seize the domain names of hundreds of online gaming Web sites, including several of the leading online sites where you test your poker skills.

While the rights of Kentucky poker players were upheld by the Kentucky Court of Appeals earlier this year, the Commonwealth has pursued their misguided crusade to its highest court. On Thursday, lawyers for the Interactive Gaming Council and iMEGA will present compelling factual and legal arguments to the Supreme Court justices. It is eagerly anticipated that the Kentucky Supreme Court will put an end to this legal battle in favor of the rule of law and poker players' rights after properly considering these persuasive arguments that will be presented. The Poker Players Alliance has served as amicus throughout the legal proceeding and has filed a brief with the Supreme Court as well.

The hearing is open to the public and I encourage you to attend. If you do attend please be respectful of the Court and dress in professional attire.

You can also watch the hearing live from your computer. Simply go to http://courts.ky.gov/ with a further link under the Supreme Court heading for "live stream of oral argument." This live feed will only be available during the hearing.

I will be sure to update you after the hearing and when the Supreme Court makes its decision.

Thank you for continuing to support your PPA.

I am not sure. I got stuck at home because Carrie had to work so when I woke up to get ready to leave I looked out the window and the car was not in the driveway. Didn't have enough $ for a cab and by the time the TARC bus would have come and made it to the courthouse I'd have been too late. Then I try to watch the live stream and guess what? I got visual but no audio!!! So I don't know what happened but I am looking to see if there's an update anywhere. I have to go to work in a few minutes so if I find anything I'll either post it tonight or tomorrow before work.
