    Default strategy for super turbos

lately i have been playing loads of super-turbos on tilt, cant get eough of them.
Im aware of the fact that they are risky, loaded with shuves and dumb calls.
Can you determine a certain strategy for them other than playing top notch hands and raising in position? Its generally such a short game that you either win with your big hand or suffer a bad beat.
can anyoe offer some tips as to how these sup-turbos can be played to maximum efficiency(did i spell that correctly)?
I sometime find myself at awe from players shucing with hands like K7h and then beat the player that makes the good call with pocket J, so annoying when it happens to me.
Ogres and donks beware... i have a pitchfork!!!

yea the only playing top notch hands and raising in position is a good strategy for about the first 9 minutes. these "dumb" k7 shoves aren't really that bad. lets say i have my a stack of X at level 8 i would much rather be all in with k7 for the whole amount against JJ then loose a round or two of blinds and antes waiting for a big hand, end up shoving with AK off with a stack of (X/2)get called by by 68 suited in the blind. Account for fold equity as well and you will find that a shove with k7 is actually a pretty decent play alot of the times in a super turbo format.

My strategy is to avoid anything with the name "super tubo" in it.

    Personal preference I guess.
For my style of play I'm better off playing regular SNG's and MTT's, as opposed to hoping to get a good hand early in the super turbo or being forced to shove with mediocre hands cause the blinds go up every two minutes.

    To each their own.

The only favorable thing about these tournament is that the rake is relatively way lower in relation to the buy in amount...so from that stand point the tournaments are a great deal but I usually don't do as well in the super tournaments because usually your decisions are either all in or fold.

You need to make sure that almost every time you're going to get all in its because you are the raiser. For example, you have a hand like 66 early in one of these, or even late, assuming effective stacks are very few big blinds as normal. If you call this youre pretty much dominated or flipping. I would be much more inclined to call high aces or something like KQ in this spot than a low pocket pair, you're almost never crushing. However, on the other hand, raising 66 all in at the same point is perfectly fine. You now give other players the chance to make a mistake by calling with worse pairs, you can flip vs overcards, of course your crushed vs overpairs, but you also have a lot more fold equity than you might expect. Also you should get a surprisngly high amount of calls of hands like A2 and A3 etc... which youre a nice favorite over. Just be agressive and make raises when you play and dont call off your stack otherwise.
