I find things like this to be a huge let down in humanity. All everyone does is piss and moan over a bloody freeroll for a few cents, but not one single comment saying "I hope Tony's okay."

    Well, I hope Tony's okay...

...and if he is, then I'm gonna chase him around with a broom and beat him with it LOL

Yeah, really. I hope Tony is OK 2. Playing 2000 pw thieves is hardly worth it anyway. Should send in list for restricted FRs from now on.

For some reason the status of this tournament was voided when I also tried to join it. I put the password on the first page 15 minutes before the start. Really strange.

apparently the forum didn't update in that last 15 minutes to show the password because I kept a close eye on the first page right up until 1pm and it still showed the 30 minute message. strange indeed

God damn winter time change!!! the thing is that here in Europe we change our time to one hour back every 25th of October so my PC changed it automatically but I forgot to change the time on my alarm clock so when the alarm clock started to beep it was already 1 hour late. So it was totally my fault. Sorry that it happened, anyway we are not stopping this tradition and we will still have the freerolls every Sunday. Sorry once again.

Really not a problem, Tony. Missing a week is not the end of the world. Nice to know it was not something serious. Sorry you got thrown off by the time change. We get that small pleasure here in the US next week. . .

I don't remember this happening before. Maybe I just missed that one. Either way it should be no big deal. Mistakes happen.

Just wanted to add that I appreciate all the times that things have gone on as scheduled. It's easy to criticize when things go wrong and ignore all the times things are right. Looking forward to next week and glad to hear it was just a minor problem.

So nice to see that some people do appreciate what rakeback tries to do for us. So many people forget that they do this because they want to... they don't have to... I mean how many people would take over $100 out of their pocket every week and give it away to strangers? Something to think about for the complainers...

I have never played in this before, but I hope you are offering something extra in the next one to make up for all the people who tried to play.

I can appreciate the apology, but I think you would have been better leaving your excuse out. It comes across like a highschool kid and makes this site look a little Mickey Mouse.

Shortly after this tourney is announced each week, many people say thank you for hosting it. You can say "who cares, it's just a freeroll" but I say if you're going to advertise that it's happening, then make it happen, or come clean and put something back.

My suggestion would be a $100. bounty on yourself (the goat) and doubling the prize pool. I still wouldn't play myself, because it's just too much time for the reward, but from a business stand point it would be the right thing to do.

All I can say is OMG, WTF?

Hmmm. . .checking for winking smilies, signs of sarcasm, hints of a j/k somewhere. Nope, none of that. . .jeez. But you come by to complain about a tournament that you say you don't even bother with. What was the point of your rant then?
