    Default Playing for FTP

Well... I have a nice little BR that I have built over the past month from a few freerolls.
Im just under 500$ (over 600 because I gave a little more than 100$ to a friend).
When I first started playing, I would try to win a little FTP and build it up in order to play with it for money in the many satelites FT has.
Now that I have an active BR and im playing for money, im accumilating FTP.
Its a small amount, but its still something. Anyways, I won a 20 FTP 180 man SNG on tilt to the SUNDAY BRAWL. woopdeedoo. Its just FTP but still nice.
    the ID is:114167744
Can someone please post the tourney for me, I cant since i dont have the software for it.
    it will be deeply appreciated.
Anyway, I was wondering what i should do with the 3500 FTP, thats all ive got.
I was hoping to get some good advice as to what i should do with the FTP.
as i see it, there a many options.

    1) I could enter the Brawl satelite and pray to get through, im not leaning towards this option.
    2) The FTP could be used to play in other satelites or even to gain more FTP.
    3) dont touch it and keep it for a rainy day if I run into some unseen horrible streak and then I can satelite the FTP for a little money.

What do you think I should do?
Any and all comments are welcome.

Just do whatever you feel gives you the gives you the highest expected return. Personally, I'd probably save the FTP's for a later date.

Save them and use what ever you got FTP wise in december on the mini ftops. You can use FTP to buy into those events that what Im doing and it does not hit your rakeback!

Wait, what? How doesn't it affect your rakeback?

I have played in a bunch of mini ftops using my ftpoints. As long as they get the garuantee which 99% of the time they do it wont affect your rakeback.

What is a typical buy-in to one of these so called "mini ftops"?

I have been using my points to buy in to 1800 ftp 9 players SNG's. The top 3 get a $26. token. I use the token to buy in to the $750,000 guarantee satellite. Top 11% or so win a $215. seat, which I unregister for tourney $.

I always keep about 5 months worth of accumulated points in my account, just in case a special offer comes along. Pokerstars has these special offers occasionally, where you can convert FPP's to cash. I would consider a buy in to a mini ftops a special offer and am very interested if the buy in is within my bankroll and also doesn't affect rakeback.

    Congrats on the satelite win.
You have to win 3 of these satelites( you won a satelite, to a satelite, etc.) , which can get you entered, for free, into a sunday brawl. The brawl is a hold'em/no limit/KO, $40 for each player you KO, and the best is the first prize is $82 400.
Well worth you're while if you do well , is the sunday brawl.

I'm almost positive it affected my rakeback during the last miniftops series. Anything you use your points on affects your rakeback.

10 to 250 buy in. but most are around 20 to 30 bucks. 20+2 buy in cost 4400 FTPoints and so on. The mini ftops starts in december the schedule is up. Good luck

I don't know... usually the FTP tournaments are "special" FTP tournaments. They usually have larger fields and FTP has satellite options into those tournaments. I think they do it to try to encourage more people to play in the big tournaments, but I'm not sure.

I'm not sure if I'd trust a response from someone using the term "rackback" twice in two sentences.

There is the Full Tilt shop where different items can be bought with FTP.
Is it possible to buy these different products with FTP that is won in FTP satelites or does it have to be from raked hands and tournaments?
I know that for some restricted tourneys, you need to earn a specific amount of FTP's to qualify. I used to think that if i entered FTP SNG's and won, it would count as if I earned the FTP. This was a mistake and it didnt work.
Does the same principle apply when buying products for FTP?

To buy FTP items, all you need are the required amount of points. It doesn't matter how you got them. For Iron Man and other promos like that, you need to actually earn them by playing in raked hands or by paying sng fees.
