A start would be to not minraise/min3bet/min4bet/minanything pf. Ever. Especially not with AJo and OOP with an UTG+1 open-raiser. Also, why check/call this flop? This guy is playing 50% of his hands and you still think you're ahead/getting a price to call? Play solid positional poker against these kinds of players and you'll dominate them if you have good post flop skills. This hand seems kind of unnecessary.

I minraised figuring he would reraise with a better hand then AJ.
I checked the flop knowing he would insta bet 100% of his missed hands.
With the repeat King on the turn and him betting that much I put him on complete air.

I must admit I was a little quick giving out the results.

I think I just want to post a hand where everyone says. That was a great hand you played it brilliantly. But it never happens. Or maybe when I ask what do I do here?, I mean what should I do here not what do you think I did wrong preflop/flop/etc.

Also im in a bad mood cause im stuck in a small unit on a 35 degree day without air conditioning

Based on what you posted for the first hand I think that is a risky play.

8/10 he is going to show up with something better than Ace high. I would have rather c-bet and taken the hand down after the flop. But, you have an extra 4.60 in your pocket. Too often I think he is going to show up with some sort of King there.

Second hand

What are your stats at the table? What is your image? What is the villain's stats/image? I probably make a similar bet on the river (hard for me to not think i have the best hand given the action to this point.) But facing his massive reraise, you have to ask yourself why is he reraising so big here? Is he bluffing or is he trying to get max value for his hand. I'm folding, there are just too many hands that beat me here.

For me to call I have to be something like 95% sure he's bluffing, and it's just too likely that he was playing A4s, i see people limp-call a raise PF with A4s ALL THE TIME in NL10.

I'm more interested in your reasoning for calling the bet. You did a good job of controlling the potsize the entire hand, then got carried away with your ace and called his all in.

I don't like the first hand. As for Hand 2-Bet more on the flop, bet the turn, and as played I would fold that river. He's not showing up with anything worse with that line.

I'm really not a fan of hand #1 at all. You might have won this hand, but how many other hands have you lost this much or more by making the same type of play? It's just a generally poor play in my opinion.

First off let me see that these where the two hands in a 1500 hand session where I played differently two my normal ABC poker and thats why i posted them. The first hand I know is a very marginal hand to even play AJ after the flop with, on this occasion I just had a gut feeling that he had pure air.
100% of the time this hand gets mucked on the flop against a random opponent on the flop.

Hand 2.

This hand happened near the end of my session and I feel I wasnt playing my A game at this point.

Villian was running 23/7 over 74 hands with Agg F of 4.7
I was at 17/12 Agg F 2.6

The bet on the river utterly confused me and I think if I was thinking properly its an instafold against a person with those stats.

Hmm... First hand, bad play from start to finish on that one. I could've definetely understood calling the flop if you were planning on a hefty check-raise on the turn. As played... Sry, but bad, no matter why you played it like you did. The second hand, fine until the check-raise call. As mentioned, he wasn't going to show anything weaker AQ. I would've probably played it flop bet, turn bet, river check.
