    Default I am a donk for sure....BUT

I surely am a donk. There is no doubt in my mind, BUT....why is it on 5 or 6 different sites i hit 2 pair or a set and they hit the inside straight on the river. Or if i have AK to their A3 they hit at least one 3 or maybe more and the thing is.... I KNOW its coming for them. I go in with QQ and they call with J6. Guess what, they hit a freaking full house. Where does it end? This is not a bad beat story. Its like i am afraid to bet now. I get a good hand and i cringe because i know im up against whoever is passing out 2 outters or 3 outters. I love to play poker and i do most of it for free because i dont have a bankroll. So i am trying to make a couple bucks in freerolls. but now i am getting gunshy. This will sound crazy but im afraid to get a good hand now. Someone give me some advice please.

Sounds like you might be on a 1,000,000 hand rough patch. Hopefully you play a lot of hands or you might not live to see a heater.

If you play poker well and as many right decisions as possible + play within your means, you will win money in the long run. If your playing scared it usually means that your scared to lose your money. Only play for money that you don't care about losing but it means something to win. If a couple of badbeats throws you off your game it means you need to learn how to lose and continue playing your A game.

You have to change your attitude! If you believe you are going to lose then you will. Don't let the past affect your future. Just play your best and be aggressive. Tell yourself that they can't beat you. Try it and see what happens. (if you truly believe you will lose every time you get a good hand then you should quit poker forever because that is just nonsense....if you don't believe in yourself then who will?)

    Default no bad beat

    You're playing too many hands.
Good starting hands can get beat,
so beat that in your head.

Some people play by gut instinct regardless of their hand. Recognize this by paying to see the hand when it becomes necessary. Play the game baby

I got the same "virus" in my mind, but if you keep it out and get confidence back to your game you will see that you are playing good.
I got very bad luck last weeks, i go all in with AK suit vs Q6 suit and he hit the 6, i go with AA vs A10 and he hit str8 ... was crazy, but when you get confidence back you will change your bad karma and all will become normal. See you tomorrow

    Practice makes perfect!

I couldn't agree more! I find myself in the same boat as flushdraw in that I don't have a bankroll and play freerolls to try and get one started. This has worked in the past but, doesn't last with the small payouts. I have found myself getting irritated lately with similar situations as the ones flushdraw mentioned and I have taken a few days to step away from the tables, think about what I could have done differently, and will now start playing again. It is very easy sometimes to let these things bother you, especially when you are trying to start a bankroll but, we can also use the freerolls to learn from our mistakes and those of others so that when we do establish a bankroll we will be able to use what we have learned and will hopefully be better poker players for it.

Thank you and have a great day!

for what you say the biggest problem is because you play freerolls. that kind of tournments are not helpfull if you want to get some confidence in your game. nobody have respect for the hands and most of times you see crazy all ins.

i think you should start to play small sitngos, pokerstars have possibly the best sitngos starting with 10 cents. if you keep playing freerolls iam pretty sure your lucky wont change.

yesterday was playing on PKR on NL25 and one particular player was messing around and raising to $2.25 with AJ and so on. I liked this

Well he raised to $2 and I had QQ, I reraised to $7 and he pushed all in with his stack of $30. I called and he floped QUADSSS, yes, he had PP 22 and flopped 2222. Maybe he is a card reader and knew that the flop was going to drop him quads.

Point is, you cant win them and you will go through difficult patchs and good patchs. Do not give up and never surrender. Play with a BANKROLL. Get a rakeback deal and use all your means to have fish for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    GOOD LUCK!!

PS...if you dont want to be beat by fishy players, play on sites that arent fishy

i prefer to be badbeat by fish then outmanouvered by a shark.
sharks tend to like keeping the money afterwards

Quite like this statement after my last month or two. Problem is I'm watching the fish give my money to the sharks and there's nothing I can do about it sigh
