Default shot myself in the foot

Well...I havent started a thread in a long time so ill give it my best.
Ive been playing very unstable and crazy poker lately, and now im down to 500$ which ive decided to take out so that I have some money for sure. This was all money won from a few freerolls several months ago and I feel that if I leave it inside, its gonna go to waste.
Thus, im gonna try and freeroll myself up again.
It'll be a bumpy road im sure but I have a feeling ill be able to bounce back up again.
On another note, ive had several problems with my MTT play which I had been hoping to resolve by now. This is not the case sadly.
Anyone know how and where is a good place to improve one's MTT game?
I really enjoy MTT's but I rarely make the cut in them.
anyway, great to be back guys, any and all tips\criticism are welcome...

I'm not really sure how a person knows if they have MTT leaks (besides the obvious ones), other than if they play a huge sample of them. Great MTT'ers have final table %'s of like 4. So, on average, they will make 4 final tables out of 100. If they run cold, they might not even make 1. I have no idea what a good sample size would be to know if you're leaking anywhere. Something definitely over 100.

So what I was trying to get across is that you might be playing perfectly and just don't know it since you haven't had results lately.

that is indeed a comforting notion.
however, i feel it is not accurate, i do believe i have some leaks.
thx anyway for your optimistic words.

If your looking to improve your MTT game, I would recommend playing more of them. Eventually you'll get better at knowing when to lay down a good hand and picking your spots to bluff or to get paid off on your big hands. I would also consider reading Harrington's books if you haven't already.

    Good Luck!

    lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.
remember i said I was going back to freerolling, SCRATCH THAT!!!!
I had just under 6 $ in my account about 5 hours ago(not including the 500$ ment for withdrawal ofcourse).
    NOW I GOT OVER 400$
I played well, played some super turbo MTTs, some HU and now im up over 400$, over 900 in total lol.
how the hell do i keep myself from losing it all back????
im prone to doing dumb things and playing the exact opposite from good BR management.
i really need some help guys, i feel as if im gambling more than playing and i hate to admit it but....im kinda addicted to it.
please give me some good constructive advice, itll be very appreciated.

If you've ever lost all of your roll, you know how terrible it feels. I had to lose it about 5 times before I was 20-years-old to realize I never want to do it again. Just that feeling alone makes me stick to awesome bankroll management. I don't even feel the need to tilt and move up stakes when I'm running bad anymore. My advice would be to stick to a certain limit in a certain game, or a few different variants of poker, but never take shots until you know you won't blow your load if you start taking bad beats at the next level.

Again, think of how stupid you'll feel if you lose your bankroll. Stick to bankroll management, beat the limits within your bankroll, and keep moving up in ranks when your bankroll allows and when you feel comfortable. There are a lot of people that just aren't content with playing lower stakes that are within their bankroll, and that's ok, but if you can't reload you shouldn't be doing that.
