Default New Full Tilt Rush Poker impact on rakeback

    What a beautiful concept.

When at a table you have the option to basically Quick Fold, which is in turn a fold out of turn. As soon as you do that 8 more opponents join your table and you are instantly dealt a new hand.

It is awesome. I played for half an hour and am up 15 buy ins.

All you need to do is wait for a monster and I also found ace + same suit card pays too.

Since no one can get a read on you because your opponents change every hand it is easy to pick off donkeys.

I urge you to try it!

Although I am not 100% sure how Fulltilt points and rakeback would be calculated because technically you are not there for a complete hand duration. Anyone know?

It also gives you no opportunity to get solid opponent reads. Although, it seems like there are a lot crazies playing that are willing to get it all in with very mediocre holdings.

As far as I know, when you fold your hand you remain seated at the table as such, exactly as you would in a normal ring game. Therefore, rakeback and Full Tilt points are calculated the same as they would in a regular ring game.

cant talk so many hands to play
god you can get past 1500 hands an hour on this thing
Poker is a microcosm of all we admire and disdain about capitalism and democracy. Poker can be rough-hewn or polished, warm or cold, charitable and caring, or hard and impersonal, fickle and elusive, but ultimately poker is fair, and right, and just.

I tried it this morning. Pretty gay you can't play more than 4 tables yet. Sounds like they are going to widen it to other stake levels as well as let you play more tables. Anyways, I got in about 1300 hands per hour 4-tabling Rush, while I only get 1050 or so 16-tabling normal full ring. Pretty sick. The fish will flock to this game. They'll see more hands and make more mistakes = ship it.

And 15 buyins in a half hour? Wtf.

In 29 minutes I was able to play 151 hands. That is on one table... and it's over 300 hands an hour. Holy crap is that insane. The tables are pretty weak, I only made 81xbb during that time but that is pretty good. I ran pretty well, I think at least. The play is pretty weak. And aggression is very important here... since most people are just going to fold and move to the next game more often than on regular tables.

I admit, my button and CO aggression suffered here though. Instead of playing some marginal raising hands from those spots... I just quick-folded and went to a new table. In a regular game, I would have folded if anyone had shown interest and raised when it folded to me. But here, I didn't wait to see if anyone was interested and just moved on. That's probably not the best effect on my game.
I get no respect. . . when I move all-in, people from other tables call.

I played it for an hour and its insane I love it

Why mutitable when you can get the same hand per hour from 4 tables compared to 16 tables as a mutitabler your win rate would have to increase due to better concetration on 4 tables

From a rakeback and FTP point nothing changes you are still in the hand even though you have moved. Here is the link which explains it all

    http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/rush-poker/faq

Could you imagine the amount of donks which will now qualify for Iron Level as you could genenerate 200 Points per day in less than 2 hours at the 25c level and this would be only play 2 tables, I only had 2 tables running and got over 100 Points in that hour

Finally a product FTP can be proud of they had to do something since the bs launch of Matrix what a joke that was

Now if they add DON SNG's I be very happy only reason I play stars is for DON's

Also found out it is capped at 2000 players per blind structure

As I play in Australia not a huge problem as I play at night (US morning) dont know how it will cop with a flood of US Players at their night session as it could always maxed out

    Default Very fun

but at some point I will suffer a seizure.

This rush poker really helps when you want to play a lot of hands in a short amount of time. From time to time I have a spare ten minutes and I can now play a ton of hands in that time.

Big cheer for Full tilt. I think this will change online poker forever.

I am still trying to figure this one out... I find clicking the quick fold button all the time can become addictive. I am not sure how optimal this strategy is. Do you guys think stealing the blinds is more important in this structure? Or do you think it is better to fold more and only play big pairs?

Short answer no, stealing the blinds only will get you no where fast the advantage of this type of game is get good position with good hands and over the course of the hour law of averages dictates this will happen

Be careful blind stealing @ 50c plus blinds, expect the blinds to 3Bet your backside more often here than a single table as most ppl raises expecting the blinds to fold and move on.

3 Betting in the BB with air can be very rewarding play over the long term at the 25c and below levels

Stealing becomes way more beneficial in Rush. People have no reason to flat call marginal hands from the blinds anymore, they can just fold and instantly be presented with a new situation. And the blinds will obv 3bet way less than often since they have 0 reads on anyone. Good players won't be 3betting air against randoms. That said, a lot of the players in Rush won't be good players. Be prepared to get spewed upon, and at a more rapid pace.
